LAA Office on Glass Breakfast

In February of 2020 the work of LAA Office was featured on the website Glass Breakfast, an ongoing, online archive project serving as an alternative space for the appreciation and conversation of art that is fiscally sponsored by the New York Foundation for the Arts. The series is produced by Ian Carstens, who writes, “The light-hearted and considered work of Lulu Loquidis and Daniel Luis Martinez that comprises LAA Office is confidently simple. Complex yet efficient. Showcasing the creative process as a peacock's tail, LAA Office marries the design of landscape, architecture and art. By celebrating and challenging the history and norms of architecture and design, LAA Office uniquely embraces the living element into their highly researched projects. Much like the ancient practices of bonzai and espalier, the work of LAA Office honors the natural through careful consideration of human involvement.”
